OUR RAFTING PACKAGES - Select what's right for you!

Your rafting adventure will start at our base camp located just off the Upper Red Deer River, Alberta's most popular whitewater rafting river. The water you will be experiencing is Class 2 - 4 rapids. Our season runs everyday from the May long weekend until the Labour Day long weekend (Sept). Remember NON-SWIMMERS are welcome.

All our trips include a certified whitewater rafting guide per raft and all safety gear. Wetsuit, lifejacket, helmet, paddling jacket, fleece, wet shoes and gloves are provided for each rafter. Mukwah Tours is all about customizing the right experience for you. We can design for family reunions, corporate bonding retreats, or parties and celebrations of virtually any description! Just to get you started, have a look at some of the following packages:

COME RIDE THE BEAR!
Our regular "Whitewater Rafting Package" offers your choice of ½ day (2½ hrs - "The Sampler") or full day (4½ hrs - "The Full Jaunty") rafting. Raft the exciting rapids of the Upper Red Deer River, where every 'hit' in the waves through the rapids is a soaking experience. Run through rapids with names like Big Rock, Gooseberry, S Bends, The Nationals, Rock Garden, and Sauna Hole. Then head back to camp to enjoy the hot tub, sauna, fire pit, camping, and barbecue supper to tell the tales of the day's adventures.

THE SAMPLER
For those who just want a "taste", Mukwah offers a half-day trip that'll get you 2½ hours on the river.

THE FULL JAUNTY
You guessed it! A full day (4½ hrs) on the Red Deer River with exposure to several classes of rapids.

Add the Double Ledge and the Highlights - more rapids with a big double drop!

HIGH WATER SUPER DAY
6 hours of adrenaline packed action!

Group of 8 people or more.

All the great rapids of "The Full Jaunty" trip and the Highlights Trip.

(These two trips are on different sections of the river with approximately 12 km of river between the sections.)

Plus all the rapids in between the two trips!

For this trip we meet at 9:30 am and will be on the water at 10:00 am.

Lunch will be served at the halfway point of the trip.

We can meet you at the take out, so your vehicle is where you finish for the day (less driving for you).

After the trip, add a Gourmet Steak BBQ $28.00/person.

TWO DAY TRIP
A two day all inclusive trip. Two days of whitewater rafting, two nights of camping, five meals (two continental breakfasts, two hot lunches, a BBQ steak supper, hot tub, sauna, showers, campfires, and camp games. You provide your own accommodation (tent or RV), beverages of choice, snacks, etc.

FLOAT TRIPS
• Daylight or Full Moon

So you would rather take it easy and enjoy the scenery, eh? No problem! Join us for a relaxing 1½ hour float down the mighty Red Deer. Hot lunch included. Kids are welcome to join in the fun, four years old and up.
